About

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech, advised by Prof. Chris North. Before that, I received an M.S. in Software Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University and a B.S. in Software Engineering from Northwest A& F University.

My research focuses on the intersection of interactive visualization, large language models, and semantic interaction to make the reasoning behind model-driven analysis visible to people. I'm interested in developing methods that leverage LLMs to assist people in analyzing large collections of data through direct interaction, while keeping the model's inferred rationale inspectable and correctable. Previously, my research focused on deep learning for hyperspectral imaging.

Research interests: LLM agents · agent memory & knowledge conflicts · semantic interaction & visual analytics · LLM evaluation · hyperspectral image denoising (earlier)
